We are currently looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our client's team in Braintree, Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and has experience working on engines and fault finding, repair, and service.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment maintenance, with a focus on preventing breakdowns and ensuring optimal performance. A full UK driver's license is also required.

Key Responsibilities:
• Travel to client sites to perform maintenance and repairs of heavy equipment
• Diagnose complex technical issues and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Keep detailed records of service activities, parts used, and work completed for accurate reporting

Key Benefits:
• Competitive salary: approximately £32,000 - £35,000 per annum
• Overtime pay at 1.5x the hourly rate
• A minimum of 5 hours of overtime available per week, with average availability being 15-20 hours
