Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Employment Specialist to join our team in Haringey and Enfield. As an Employment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering employment support to individuals with health conditions, working closely with Primary Care teams and the wider community.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver intensive employment support to a maximum of 30 participants, assisting them in obtaining and sustaining employment that aligns with their vocational goals.
  • Meet and exceed performance targets for referrals, programme starts, employer engagement, job starts, and sustainment, in compliance with contractual guidelines and quality procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with Primary Care teams, clinicians, and employers to ensure seamless support and outcomes for participants.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers to facilitate job placements and sustainment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in delivering employment support, preferably in a Primary Care setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with participants, clinical teams, and employers.
  • High level of optimism, initiative, and effective communication skills to drive outcomes and targets.
  • Excellent IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office software and experience working with databases.
