Town Planner

We are seeking a highly experienced Town Planner to join our team in Truro, Cornwall. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of planning projects from initial consultation through to final completion.

About the Role:

The key responsibilities of this role include preparation and submission of planning applications, provision of expert advice on planning matters, conducting land development assessments and viability studies, attending internal and external meetings, staying up-to-date with local and national planning policy changes, preparing monthly progress reports, and working closely with the land and technical teams.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience working as a town planner
  • Degree-qualified and ideally working towards Chartership (MRTPI)
  • Strong client-facing skills and experience
  • Significant major development experience required; renewable energy project experience is also desirable
Salary and Benefits:
  • £35,000 - £45,000 salary
