Project Management Office Manager

Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is seeking a skilled PMO Manager to lead the design and implementation of a PMO function across a portfolio, including a change programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with programme leads to establish PMO enablers, including capability and capacity assessments.
- Work with the finance team to set up project-level budgets and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement PMO processes and procedures.
- Provide strategic planning, risk management, change control, and PMO reporting.
About the Role:
This is a 3-month contract on a hybrid basis, with some attendance required on site in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in PMO setup and programme setup, particularly in transformation programmes and capital delivery programmes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in PMO setup and programme setup.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment.

Venesky-Brown's client offers a competitive rate of circa £500/day, Inside IR35.
