About the Role
In this exciting position as an Energy Infrastructure Development Manager, you will play a key role in shaping Amazon's energy strategy and developing innovative solutions to power our global infrastructure. Based in London, UK, with 40% expected travel, you will work closely with diverse teams across AWS to deliver scalable, cost-effective, and sustainable energy solutions for our customers.

You will leverage your expertise in renewable energy generation, power systems, and grid infrastructure to drive our transition to a low-carbon future. With a strong track record of delivering projects in power systems and grid infrastructure, renewable power generation, and power trading or energy procurement, you will lead the development of strategic energy sourcing opportunities and identify systemic risks in power markets to inform our investment decisions.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of power market design and energy markets, with the ability to structure and formulate investment thesis for new technologies. Your analytical skills and experience in leveraging data-driven insights to analyze the implications of electrical grid infrastructure systems, energy policies, regulations, and utility tariffs will be essential in informing our decision-making process.
