About the Role:

The Student Wellbeing and Accessible Learning Support team at Queen's University is seeking a Disability Quality Assurance and Student Engagement Officer to support the work of the Needs Assessment Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and providing feedback on individually-tailored reasonable adjustment reports, ensuring that recommendations meet professional standards and funder requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and provide feedback on reasonable adjustment reports
  • Ensure recommendations meet professional standards and funder requirements
  • Enhance the student experience through fostering engagement with the assessment process
  • Oversee and review student engagement post-assessment

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent)
  • A 'levels / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
  • Recent relevant experience and a working knowledge of DSA / similar funding bodies
  • Experience in a customer-focused / customer service role providing advice and guidance
  • Experience of using spreadsheets / databases to record, collect and analyse data and present in different formats
  • Experience of dealing with sensitive / personal information and managing confidential data in line with GDPR UK

Working Arrangements:

The post is part-time (25.9 hours) and will involve working both on-campus and remotely from home. An Access NI check is required.
