About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Fire Safety Engineer to join our team at Engie. As a Fire Safety Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our clients and their assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in feasibility studies, design studies, and modification studies of fire, explosion, and internal flooding protection installations, following applicable regulations and standards.
  • Conduct audits and diagnostics of fire, explosion, and internal flooding protection installations.
  • Perform internal fire, explosion, and flooding calculation and simulation studies, with the support of a Senior Fire Safety Engineer.
  • Develop and implement risk analysis and mitigation strategies, following applicable methods and standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, fire experts, and clients to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Participate in equipment and services procurement, including writing technical specifications, preparing call for tenders, and reviewing supplier bids.
  • Manage contracts, including follow-up of contractor activities, associated reporting, and contract closure activities.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering, fire safety engineering, or nuclear engineering.
  • Proficiency in calculation and simulation software, such as Magic, Sylvia, FDS/Pyrosim, or Flashcat.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Proficiency in English language, with any knowledge of French being a plus.
  • BPSS level clearance, or eligibility to obtain.
