We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator to join our team at New Appointments Group. As a key member of our Purchasing department, you will be responsible for coordinating the procurement of goods and services, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, and ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Purchase products, materials, and services required to fulfill sales orders on time
- Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers through regular communication
- Coordinate with hauliers and suppliers to schedule collections and deliveries of goods
- Manage stock levels and schedule deliveries to maximize production efficiency
- Keep accurate records of purchases, suppliers, and deliveries
- Monitor supplier quality and delivery performance
- Provide general administrative support to the Purchasing Manager and team
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Administration, ideally within Purchasing or Procurement
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and Outlook
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
