Job Title: Compassionate Care Service Coordinator

We are seeking a compassionate and organized individual to lead our End of Life Care Volunteer program. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, experience in volunteering or working with volunteers, and knowledge of end of life care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a dedicated End of Life Care Volunteer program.
  • Recruit, train, manage, and supervise a team of End-of-Life Care Volunteers.
  • Establish a service that is embedded in the hospital and has long-term sustainability.

About the Role:

  • This is a fixed-term position funded by Bristol and Weston Hospitals Charity.
  • You will work in partnership with Voluntary Services and End of Life Care Leads to develop and manage the volunteer program.

Requirements:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) in maths and English or equivalent experience.
  • NVQ level 3 Customer Care or equivalent qualification or experience.
  • Excellent customer service experience including handling queries, complaints, and sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of Equality & Diversity legislation in relation to recruitment.
