Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Consumer and Marketing Insights Manager to join our team at Burberry Limited.

This role aims to cultivate a heightened focus on insights within the Marketing team, facilitating informed decision-making and enhancing marketing strategies for the Burberry brand.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with teams across marketing and the broader business to emphasize the value of insights and consumer research, empowering teams to deliver results rooted in data-driven insights.
  2. Work with channel leads to develop strategies incorporating data and insights as key components.
  3. Develop and track Marketing KPIs across the department to analyze performance, extract findings, and identify opportunities for growth.
  4. Create and deliver Marketing reports on campaigns and activations, global and regional KPIs regularly.
  5. Collaborate with our research partner to manage the execution of our Brand Tracking study across multiple markets.
  6. Lead the briefing, design, and execution of primary research to better understand consumers and market trends, enabling agile decision-making and supporting business growth.
  7. Conduct in-depth analysis of secondary sources to extract broader market and consumer insight, identifying growth opportunities and closely monitoring competitors.
  8. Collaborate with Data & Analytics to bridge the gap between data and marketing, establishing a workstream resulting in actionable outcomes.
  9. Utilize data from multiple sources to develop a holistic performance perspective, responding to stakeholder requests with timely analysis.
  10. Develop a learning agenda from insights and data gathered, rolling it out to the marketing department to ensure an ongoing growth cycle.
Requirements
  • Extensive research design and delivery experience, with expertise in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • In-depth understanding of marketing ecosystems, data sources, and analytics, with proficiency in Marketing Mix Modelling, Econometrics, and data visualization.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail, capable of identifying key findings and trends, and conveying a compelling narrative.
  • Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with colleagues and teams across functions, fostering robust relationships.
  • Confident presenter able to engage diverse stakeholders, uncovering insights to inform business strategies.
