Nursery Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Teaching Assistant to join our team at a "Good" Ofsted-rated Nursery in Radlett. This is a full-time Permanent position, offering flexible hours, holiday pay, and 3 days' sickness pay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children's learning and development in a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and provide pastoral support to children when required.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing feedback on children's progress and achievements.
  • Assist the class teacher with planning and delivery of engaging activities that promote learning.

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant/Early Years qualification or equivalent is desirable.
  • Previous experience working as an EYFS Teaching Assistant.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support children's learning and well-being.
