We are seeking a skilled and motivated Facilities Maintenance Assistant to join our team at RAF Shawbury site.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks as required, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Use appropriate tools and equipment in a safe manner, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Report issues promptly to the site supervisory team, providing clear and concise information.
- Carry out inspections on equipment to ensure it is serviceable and compliant with regulations.
- Assist in maintaining the buildings to current legislation, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
Requirements
- Basic DIY skills and in-depth understanding of maintenance procedures.
- Problem-solving skills for addressing safety and maintenance concerns.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for giving instructions to contractors.
- Organisation, multi-tasking, and scheduling skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
