Maintenance Facilities Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Facilities Engineer to support the operational efficiency of our facilities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the maintenance team with Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and corrective work.
  2. Assist in resolving machine issues and breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  3. Ensure compliance with LOLER & PUWER regulations, including crane servicing and statutory inspections.
  4. Perform general repairs to buildings, such as lighting, drainage, and toilet facilities.
  5. Oversee and manage maintenance tasks across all Telford properties, prioritizing efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. Manage contractors, including issuing Permits to Work and overseeing their activities.
Requirements:
  1. Qualified craftsperson with relevant certification (Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-skilled disciplines).
  2. Experience working in a maintenance environment, including managing contractors and CMMS systems.
  3. Experience with equipment specification, diagnostics, systems integration, and maintenance coordination.
  4. Prior experience working in an FMCG environment, with a focus on maintenance and asset management.
  5. MEWP experience is preferable.
