CDS, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, is looking for an experienced IT Data Center Technician to join our team in Lewisham and London Docklands.

The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, with experience of cabling activities, DC hardware deployments and Data Centre support functions.

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance and retirement plan.

About the Position:

  • Provision of Data Centre support functions such as IMAC-D and escorting of external resources.
  • Installation, termination and testing of all data centre interlink cabling & patching using CAT-5e, CAT-6/6A and fibre optic cabling (single and multi-mode).
  • DC hardware deployments, including physical delivery through to end point installation.

Your Qualifications:

  • Must have strong knowledge of HPE Proliant, Blade servers & Dell Servers.
  • Experience of patch cabling in DC environment.
  • Good knowledge of Service Now (SNOW).
  • Sound knowledge of ESD working practice.
