Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate caregiver to provide personalized care and support to a teenage girl in Accrington.

The ideal candidate will have experience in complex care and be passionate about delivering the highest standard of care.

About the Role

The successful applicant will work without direct supervision in the home of the service user, providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service user's individual care and support plan.

The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing personal care and support to the service user
  • Assisting with medication administration
  • Repositioning and conducting clinical observations
  • Tending to any clinical care needs as required
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Medication administration training
  • Personal care skills
  • Moving and handling skills
  • A pet-friendly attitude (the service user has a dog at home)
