Job Title: Technical Stage Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Stage Manager to join our team at the National Theatre. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the technical aspects of our productions, ensuring that they are delivered to the highest artistic and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with the production team to ensure that all technical elements of the production are delivered on time and to budget.
  • Manage the technical aspects of the production, including sound, lighting, and set construction.
  • Work closely with the production manager to ensure that all technical aspects of the production are coordinated and delivered.
  • Ensure that all technical equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to ensure that the technical aspects of the production align with the artistic vision.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality productions.
  • Excellent technical skills, with a strong understanding of sound, lighting, and set construction.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Knowledge of current health and safety legislation, including LOLER and risk assessment.
