Rail Infrastructure Portable Plant Operator

This permanent full-time role is a great opportunity to join Torrent Trackside, a renowned specialist supplier of rail infrastructure portable plant and related trackside services. As a Rail Infrastructure Portable Plant Operator, you will play a crucial part in delivering comprehensive solutions to the rail industry.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Deliver and collect rail plant to and from customers using mobile PDA devices for scanning asset tags.
  • Perform labouring and yard duties, including tidying the plant up, getting vans loaded.
  • Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, with opportunities to set up lighting equipment and operate machines on track.

**Requirements:**

  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Able to pass the Network Rail standard medical prior to employment.
  • Flexibility with working pattern/shifts.
  • Experience with rail or small plant is preferred, but training can be given.
