The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role, with expertise in Bash and Python. They will also possess working knowledge of databases and microservice architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and performance troubleshooting.

About the Role
  • BUILD AND OPTIMIZE DEVELOPMENT TOOLS AND INFRASTRUCTURE: Leverage your technical expertise to set up new development tools and infrastructure that streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  • MONITOR AND MAINTAIN SAAS ENVIRONMENTS: Ensure seamless operation of dev, staging, and production SaaS environments, maintaining high levels of availability and security.
  • COLLABORATE WITH STAKEHOLDERS: Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and convey them to developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication.
  • DEVELOP AND IMPROVE PROCESS PIPELINES: Work on automating and enhancing development, testing, and release processes using CI/CD pipelines, reducing manual errors and improving overall quality.
  • ENSURE CYBERSECURITY: Develop and implement measures to ensure systems are secure against emerging cybersecurity threats, protecting sensitive data and maintaining the integrity of our platform.
  • WORK WITH CUSTOMER SUCCESS TEAM: Collaborate with the customer success team to identify technical problems on the field and develop software updates and fixes, delivering exceptional value to our customers.
  • ENSURE DEVELOPMENT BEST PRACTICES: Work closely with software developers and engineers to ensure that development adheres to established processes and meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.

We offer a highly competitive salary of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and generous vacation time. Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
  • Excellent knowledge of Bash and Python programming languages
  • Working knowledge of databases and microservice architectures
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and performance troubleshooting
  • Possesses problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and strong communication abilities
  • Experience developing engineering applications for large corporations is a plus
  • Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Flink, Spark, Ignite, or Redis is a bonus
