We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at a leading private hospital in Chelmsford, Essex. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical team.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with patient admission and discharge processes
- Provide post-operative care and support to patients
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any concerns to the clinical team
- Chaperone patients during medical procedures as required
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of patient charges and data
- Support minor procedures such as ENT, dermatology, and podiatry
- Maintain patient rooms and clinical areas to ensure a clean and welcoming environment
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of customer care principles
- Basic IT skills and ability to learn new systems
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in a healthcare or caring environment, preferably in private healthcare
- Enthusiastic and committed team player with a flexible approach
- Competitive salary up to £23,000 per annum DOE
- Full-time role with occasional night shifts
