HGV Class 2 Driver Position

We are seeking an experienced Class 2 HGV driver to join our team at Backline Logistics Support Services Ltd.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating Class 2 vehicles, ensuring timely and efficient delivery and collection of loads, and maintaining accurate records of deliveries, collections, and vehicle logs.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate Class 2 vehicles
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery and collection of loads
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and vehicle logs
- Communicate effectively with clients, ourselves, and customers
- Will to travel to different clients
- Happy to have a variety of work ranging from Curtain siders, pallets, Rigids, Fridge, Tankers, etc.
- Valid Class 2 HGV (C) license
- Will to travel to different clients
- Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum of 1 year of HGV driving experience (preferred, but not essential)
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations
- Excellent driving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
