Lane Clark & Peacock LLP is seeking a skilled Junior Model Developer to join our team of in-house model developers. As a key member of our growth team, you will play a crucial role in working across all areas of our code, which is based on a C# backend.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain models used by our energy modelling team on client projects or directly by clients.
  • Collaborate with non-IT technical users to understand requirements and business objectives, identifying problems and providing solutions in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments and changes in the field of IT development, as well as the tools and techniques used.

What We're Looking For

  • Excellent understanding of C# programming.
  • Experience in using Microsoft technical stack and Azure DevOps.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including technologies such as Cosmos DB and Azure Batch.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team, provide an excellent user experience, and be eager to learn new skills on the job.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to discuss technical matters in non-technical language.
  • Educated to degree level with either a mathematical or computer-based degree.
  • Clear and logical thinking, along with the ability to provide concrete examples of work, is essential.
  • An understanding of mathematical modelling is advantageous but not essential.
