We are working with a well-established, CREST-accredited consultancy that has recently won a significant project with a leading Information Technology organization. They are seeking an Android App Malware Reverse Engineer to join their team.

About the Company

The company supports thousands of clients from the private sector to public and defense, and has been in operation for over two decades. This role will have you working in a team of six, focusing on the security of Android devices, and challenging questions that could not be answered by lower malware analysis tiers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reverse engineering of Android and Java-based apps
  • Experience with different types of code and languages is a plus
  • Knowledge of the Android platform and its security mechanisms
  • Vulnerability assessment and mobile penetration testing
  • Knowledge of security-related topics, such as authentication, identity management, data leakage prevention, validation checking, encryption, hashing, and software attack methodologies
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in reverse engineering
  • Reverse engineering of Android and Java-based apps
  • Experience with different types of code and languages is a plus
  • Knowledge of the Android platform and its security mechanisms
