About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Repairs Support Officer to join our Repairs Support Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting our building maintenance teams and ensuring that our properties are well-maintained and safe for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Repairs Support Manager in supervising the repairs support team and allocating tasks to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, building occupiers, and staff to resolve issues and provide excellent customer service.
  • Operate in a changing and evolving environment, embracing change with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure a smooth delivery of the service and adapt to the demands of the team.
  • Undertake a range of administrative tasks to support the team and ensure accurate and timely updates to IT databases and systems.
Requirements
  • Experience of working in a challenging front-line service and knowledge of repairs services, including receiving demand and raising repairs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop relationships with residents and building occupiers.
  • Ability to work independently, be organized, methodical, and prioritize multiple complex demands.
  • Assertive and challenging while dealing professionally with service users.
  • Experience of using a variety of IT databases and systems to update them in a timely manner with accurate information.
