Job Title: Financial Director

Evolve Recruitment is seeking an experienced Financial Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial processes, systems, and controls are operating effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation and filing of statutory accounts
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Supervise the preparation and review of monthly management accounts
  • Provide financial insights to the CEO and other senior leaders
  • Manage day-to-day transactions and oversee the sales ledger, purchase ledger, payroll, and cash posting
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of tax filings
  • Liaise with auditors and coordinate year-end procedures
  • Review and recommend improvements to accounting software
  • Assist in the preparation of information for investors and banks
  • Manage and develop a team of 3-4 within the finance team
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Qualified with ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent
  • Strong IT skills, with experience in implementing integrations and automations
  • Strong people management skills
  • Demonstrated self-motivation, project management capabilities, and ability to work under pressure
