Join Our Team as a Bank Chef
Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital is seeking an experienced Chef to join our team on a bank contract. As a Bank Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to provide high-quality meals to patients, staff, and visitors. Your role will involve producing meals in designated sections of the main kitchen, adhering to centralized standards of preparation, production, and presentation.
About the Role
- Produce meals for patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to centralized standards.
- Provide a positive and flexible approach to customer service and strong communication skills.
- Plan patients' diets as necessary, including the correct utilization of stock, and have a strong knowledge of allergens.
- Maintain quality assurance and patient confidentiality.
- Comply with all Health and Safety at Work regulations, including COSHH and Manual Handling.
Requirements
- Previous Chef/Cookery experience.
- Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate/qualifications are essential.
- Exceptional Customer Service skills.
