Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Victoria War Memorial Hospital in Welshpool.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide therapeutic care and support to patients, including observing, monitoring, and keeping a record of patient conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with the nursing team to deliver direct care to patients.
  • Support patients with dignity, compassion, and honesty.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment.
Requirements:
  • At least 6 months recent and relevant experience in an acute medical or mental health setting.
  • Proof of immunisations for TB, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and MMR.
  • Up-to-date training certificates.
  • UK Resident.
  • Right to work in the UK.
