Job Overview

Vetro Recruitment is seeking experienced Healthcare Support Workers to work at a General NHS Ward in Welshpool. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will be supporting trained nurses in delivering direct care for patients and working as part of a team of Sisters, including a dedicated band 6 sister and a unit manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing therapeutic care and support to patients, including observing, monitoring, and keeping a record of patient conditions.
  • Treating each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty.
  • Working collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements

  • At least 6 months recent and relevant experience in an acute medical or mental health setting.
  • Proof of immunisations for TB, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and MMR.
  • Up-to-date training certificates.
  • UK Resident.
  • The right to work in the UK.
