Care Manager for Extra Care Scheme

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Care Manager to join our team at our Extra Care Scheme in Bristol. As a Care Manager, you will be responsible for providing an effective intensive housing management service to residents living in an Extra Care scheme. This includes delivering housing support and creating a vibrant, safe, and diverse environment to enable tenancy sustainment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a service providing care and support to older people and promote and improve service delivery working closely and in consultation with residents.
- Manage budgets and have a good understanding of commercial data.
- Understand current issues in the provision of social housing and care for the elderly and the ageing process, and have empathy with elderly people and can assist customers within the confines of manual handling techniques.
- Manage and motivate staff.
Requirements:
- Housing management experience.
- Experience in managing specialist rented housing.
- Experience in basic maintenance and related matters.
