CCTV Security Monitor

We are seeking a skilled CCTV Operator to join our team in a busy control room environment. As a CCTV Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring security systems, ensuring that all electronic systems, intruder alarms, access control systems, processes, and procedures meet service levels and the security needs of the business.
You will work on a 4 on 4 off rota between 19:00 to 07:00, 42 hours per week. Your duties will include liaising with the client, police, and other agencies as necessary, coordinating and prioritizing incidents from the Control Room, monitoring electronic security systems on site, and producing reports on false alarms and response times.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with clients, police, and other agencies to ensure effective communication and incident management.
- Coordinate and prioritize incidents from the Control Room to ensure timely and effective response.
- Monitor electronic security systems on site to detect and respond to potential security threats.
- Produce reports on false alarms and response times to identify areas for improvement.
- Knowledge of control room operations and security systems.
- Knowledge of CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems.
- SIA PSS licence and CCTV licence are essential.
