About the Role
Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join their Facilities team as a cleaner. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the high standard of cleanliness within the Trust.
Main Responsibilities
The cleaner will support the Facilities Manager in ensuring the Trust's cleanliness standards are implemented and maintained. Key duties will include:
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- General cleaning and damp dusting
- Cleaning bathrooms and toilets
- Emptying bins
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, be able to work as part of a team, and have the ability to use their own initiative. Training will be provided, and ongoing support will be offered within a team environment.

The Trust offers a competitive pay rate, 27 days annual leave per year, plus bank holidays and weekend enhancements. Uniform will be provided, and a generous annual leave entitlement is also available. As part of the team, you will be expected to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and work collaboratively with colleagues.
Working Arrangements
This is a part-time role with flexible shift patterns available. The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a team, with a flexible approach and good communication skills.
