About the Role
Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join their Facilities team as a cleaner. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the high standard of cleanliness within the Trust.
Main Responsibilities
The cleaner will support the Facilities Manager in ensuring the Trust's cleanliness standards are implemented and maintained. Key duties will include:
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- General cleaning and damp dusting
- Cleaning bathrooms and toilets
- Emptying bins
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, be able to work as part of a team, and have the ability to use their own initiative. Training will be provided, and ongoing support will be offered within a team environment.
Benefits
The Trust offers a competitive pay rate, 27 days annual leave per year, plus bank holidays and weekend enhancements. Uniform will be provided, and a generous annual leave entitlement is also available. A pension scheme is offered as part of the employment package.
Working Environment
The cleaner will be based at Sentinel House, Nuffield Industrial Estate, and will work as part of a supportive team. The role involves working a part-time schedule, with optional cleaning shift patterns available.
