About the Role

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their team. As a key member of the Nuclear Medicine department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance in the preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake non-imaging and imaging patient investigations
  • Administer radioactive doses to patients
  • Handle radioactive sources and materials
  • Order and dispense radiopharmaceuticals
  • Conduct quality assurance and storage of radioactive waste

Requirements

  • 3 years post-qualification experience in Nuclear Medicine
  • Knowledge of Nuclear Medicine scanning protocols and computer skills
  • Ability to give IV injections and carry out venipuncture
  • Knowledge of Nuclear Medicine processing protocols and gamma camera QC
