Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the execution of financial due diligence engagements, report writing, and interpretation and analysis of information provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the execution of financial due diligence engagements
  • Report writing
  • Interpretation and analysis of information provided
  • Stakeholder management
  • Data room management
  • Support delivery of other key elements of the acquisitions process including the preparation of valuations, offer letters and heads of terms
  • Support delivery of other ad-hoc projects, playing a supporting role to senior members within the team.
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA qualified
  • Previous Financial Services work would be advantageous
  • Capable with Microsoft Excel, capable of the creation and maintenance of often complex spreadsheets and the analysis of data
  • A reliable person who has the ability to manage and prioritise workloads and co-ordinate a number of simultaneous projects and communication streams
  • Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities are essential
  • Outstanding communication skills at all levels
  • Ability to produce concise business correspondence, proof read for grammar, spelling and punctuation with a high degree of accuracy
  • Analytical and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and able to work remotely with colleagues often in virtual environments i.e. Microsoft Teams
  • Flexibility / adaptability to cope with change
  • Confident with other IT and office software packages including Teams, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
