Job Description

We're looking for a skilled Administrative Support Manager to join our team at Austin Fraser. As a key member of our regional quality department, you'll provide administrative support, interact with colleagues, customers, and subcontractors, and ensure positive internal company relationships.

About the Role

This full-time position involves regular travel to various sites across the UK, including Plymouth, Slough, Bristol, Cardiff, and Southampton. You must be comfortable with frequent travel and have a driving license. In return, you'll enjoy an excellent salary of £28,000, 31 days annual leave, and a company car or car allowance.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide administrative assistance to the regional quality manager.
  2. Interact with colleagues, customers, and subcontractors, maintaining a polite and helpful approach.
  3. Ensure positive internal company relationships with other departments, offices, and business units/regions.
  4. Support the set-up of projects on SIMs.
  5. Provide SIMs training for the region internally and externally, producing guides where required.
  6. Support rolling out and training on new platforms as and when they arise and are related to Quality or Aftercare.
  7. Review projects within the region and produce reports.
  8. Coordinate aftercare for the project along with the Regional Quality Manager, log defects, issue to the supply chain, and book in with the customer ensuring closure within contract timescale and communication is kept with the customer providing regular updates.

Requirements

  1. Driving license due to the travel involved in this role.
  2. Previous construction administration/customer coordinator experience.
