Operatives (Falkirk) - Grounds Maintenance Professionals

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our workforce in Falkirk. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, flexible, and keen to work and learn. This is a permanent position with a working week of 40 hours and overtime available when necessary.

As part of our highly skilled team, you will be responsible for completing assigned works within agreed timescales, to an agreed specification, and to idverde's high standards. You will work as part of our reinstatement team and have knowledge and experience of Reinstatement for Utilities on Highways and Private sites.

Key responsibilities include:

* Completing assigned works within agreed timescales, to an agreed specification, and to idverde's high standards
* Working as part of our reinstatement team and having knowledge and experience of Reinstatement for Utilities on Highways and Private sites
* Backfillers/Reinstatement Teams - having skills and knowledge of all aspects of backfilling excavations around live services and reinstatement techniques including Tarmac, modular services, slabs, kerbs, setting ironworks and concrete
* HGV Drivers – HGV Licence and experience of driving a Hotbox or Grab/HIAB lorry working alongside teams
* Communicating clearly and positively with the Manager
* Ensuring you always wear the correct uniform & PPE
* Ensuring vehicles and machinery are in good working order, properly used and maintained
* Full driving licence preferred
* Valid NRSWA Streetworks card preferred
* Being able to demonstrate and implement daily health & safety in the workplace
* The ability to be able to work independently but also as part of a wider team
* Physically demanding role and will involve working outdoors in all weather conditions
* Ensuring that all relevant documentation is updated using a tablet/phone
