Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Neurological Physiotherapist to join our team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with consultants, advanced nurse practitioners, and administrative staff to provide expert neurological physiotherapy assessment and treatment to patients with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, manage, treat, and support patients with HTLV-1, a complex and challenging condition.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient function and management, including referrals to other community services.
  • Develop and implement holistic treatment plans, using advanced clinical reasoning and critical thinking.
  • Provide expert information, advice, and consultation on the management of patients with neurological-related conditions, including HTLV.
  • Train and educate physiotherapists, physiotherapy students, and other healthcare professionals in the management of neurological and HTLV-associated disorders.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree in Physiotherapy or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in neurological physiotherapy, preferably in a specialist national centre.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and critical thinking skills.
