We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Independent Sexual Violence Advisor to join our team at Guildford RASASC. As an ISVA, you will provide critical support to survivors of rape and sexual abuse, empowering them to overcome their experiences and rebuild their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide survivor-focused, independent support to survivors of rape and sexual abuse.
  • Undertake risk assessments and support needs analyses with survivors, developing personalized support plans.
  • Offer advice and support across a range of issues, including housing, health, and education, to ensure survivors' ongoing safety.
  • Manage caseloads and maintain accurate records, adhering to funding conditions and RASASC protocols.
  • Collaborate with the ISVA team and wider RASASC team to provide expert advice and support.

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize workload, manage time effectively, and work independently.
  • Experience working with vulnerable individuals, knowledge of child and vulnerable adult protection procedures, and handling confidential information.
  • Full driving license and use of a car for work purposes.
