Payroll Finance Specialist in Coventry

Robert Walters is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Payroll Finance Specialist to join their team in Coventry.

As a Payroll Finance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the company's payroll system, accurately recording and producing weekly and monthly payroll, and maintaining accurate records of deductions. You will also be tasked with reporting pensions, assisting with end-of-year accounts preparation, and performing intercompany reconciliation.
The ideal candidate will possess strong numerical skills, coupled with an exceptional attention to detail. Your experience in payroll processing will be invaluable in this role, as you will be responsible for ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time. Your knowledge of financial reconciliation processes will also come into play as you assist with reconciling bank accounts across different currencies.
In addition to your technical skills, you will have excellent organisational skills, enabling you to manage your workload effectively and ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities- Accurately record and produce weekly and monthly payroll
- Timely report pensions and maintain accurate records of deductions
- Generate and post payroll journals in preparation for month-end reporting
- Calculate and submit P11D/Annual leave accruals
- Monitor the Payroll Email box, handling all relevant queries
- Assist with end-of-year accounts preparation
- Reconcile multiple bank accounts across different currencies
- Assist with managing debtors and creditors
- Perform intercompany reconciliation
