A Groundworks Specialist is required to carry out civil engineering tasks such as groundworks, excavation, concreting, and foundation installation for garage equipment installations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Civil Works Execution: Carry out civil engineering tasks including groundworks, excavation, concreting, and foundation installation.
  • Site Preparation: Prepare and level ground for the installation of garage equipment, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with health & safety regulations.
  • Maintenance & Repairs: Perform maintenance and repairs on existing civil works as required, adhering to quality standards and minimizing downtime.
  • Equipment Installation Support: Assist installation teams with any required civil works to support the setup of garage and workshop equipment.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures to ensure safe working practices on all sites.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in civil works, groundworks, or construction, preferably within the garage equipment or infrastructure sectors.
  • Competence in using civil engineering tools and machinery (e.g., excavators, dumpers, concrete mixers).
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in construction environments.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to adapt to various working conditions and challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing tasks effectively and efficiently.

The role offers a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications: £17 - £18 per hour, plus overtime opportunities at time and a half, company vehicle for travel purposes, accommodation and meal allowances for overnight stays, opportunities for career development and progression, full PPE and tools provided, and a supportive working environment.
