About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Circle Health Group. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will play a vital role in delivering an excellent medicines management service to our patients, staff, and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pharmaceutical expertise and input to the care of patients within our hospital, supporting the pharmacy department to deliver a safe and effective medicines management service.
  • Supervise junior staff members in the delivery of the medicine management service and assume responsibility for specialist clinical services as needed.
  • Facilitate the daily running of the pharmacy department, ensuring a safe and effective medicines management service to all patients, staff, consultants, and customers.
  • Provide clinical input with respect to medicines to all patients, ensuring accurate and timely charging.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, professional, and best practice frameworks.
Requirements
  • Degree in Pharmacy (MPharm, BSc, or BPharm)
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a pharmacist
  • Postgraduate clinical diploma in clinical pharmacy (hospital) or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years registration and 2 years within a hospital environment
  • Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Care and Quality Commission Requirements
  • Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence
  • BOPA passport requirement
  • Oncology experience (2 years)
