About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Anderselite. As a Freelance Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing expert quantity surveying services to our clients in the civil engineering sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and analyze commercial risks and develop effective responses
  • Undertake costs analysis and provide accurate financial reports
  • Work autonomously with minimal supervision, using your expertise to drive project success
  • Agree valuations of variations and ensure accurate payment processing
  • Conduct cost value reconciliations and provide regular reporting to stakeholders
  • Assist in establishing client requirements and provide expert advice on procurement strategy
  • Prepare and analyze costing for tenders, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing
Requirements
  • Must have experience working in a fast-paced civil engineering environment
  • Proven ability to compile and administer NEC subcontract contracts
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to commute to project sites and work on-site as required
