About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Vistry Thames Valley, based in our Reading office. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a crucial role in driving our projects forward and ensuring their successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of quantity surveyors to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective quantity surveying strategies to minimize costs and maximize value.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, and develop solutions to overcome them.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to project teams on quantity surveying best practices.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a quantity surveyor or construction manager in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools, such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.
