Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled theatre nurse to join our team and contribute to providing exceptional care to our patients. As a theatre nurse practitioner, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality nursing care using a family-focused model of practice.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure high-quality nursing care is coordinated and delivered using a family-focused model of practice
• Promote and maintain high standards of nursing care within trust policies, protocols, and guidelines
• Provide evidence-based nursing care through assessment, planning, and evaluation of individual patient needs
• Communicate and work with the multidisciplinary team to improve quality of care and inform clinical decisions
• Engage and interact with carers/family members to encourage their involvement in patient care planning
• Escalate and deal with concerns raised by patients and their families in an open, honest, and transparent manner
• Achieve competence in the use of medical devices/equipment by accessing training and maintenance
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a registered nurse or allied healthcare professional with current registration with NMC/HcPC and any other relevant post-registration qualifications. Newly qualified RODPS or NQN's are also welcome to apply if they are about to qualify within the next 12 months. Evidence of study at degree level/experience in a relevant field is essential.
