About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Peripatetic Worker to join our team at Solace Women's Aid. As a key member of our Peripatetic Team, you will provide non-judgmental, confidential, and trauma-informed support to survivors of domestic and sexual abuse across various London Boroughs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide front-line support to Solace's Advice, Community, and Accommodation-based Services
  • Deliver crisis intervention and risk assessment services to survivors
  • Develop and implement individual support plans in collaboration with survivors
  • Work in a variety of roles across Solace's services, including community outreach and support
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent high standard of service delivery
About You

We are looking for a passionate advocate who understands the importance of working in a trauma-informed way with survivors and colleagues. You will have a growth mindset, be comfortable working independently, and be able to learn quickly and collaborate effectively. While prior experience working with survivors of abuse is desirable, it is not a requirement. If you have transferrable skills and a passion for supporting women and children, we encourage you to apply.
