Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector

A prominent aerospace engineering company located in the UK is seeking an experienced CMM Inspector to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled individual to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring product quality and conformance through the use of CMM equipment and other inspection methods.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform 1st-off, receipt, and manual inspections, including CMM and calibration activities.
• Operate CMM programmes, analyse results, and make quality decisions based on findings.
• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of CMM programmes, ensuring they are properly stored and up to date.
• Support the internal non-conformance process by raising rejects and implementing containment actions.
• Work closely with Engineering to facilitate the smooth introduction of new products (New Product Introduction).
• Complete FAIR packs using both CMM and manual inspection methods.

Key Qualifications and Skills:
• Previous experience operating CMM equipment in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of quality control processes and non-conformance procedures.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and use precision measuring equipment.
• Familiarity with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes is a plus.
• Proficiency in MRP systems for work booking and WIP tracking.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
