Fitters Assistant

Mitchellwest is a leading provider of backup power supply solutions, and we are currently seeking an experienced Fitters Mate to join our technical team.

As a Fitters Mate, you will assist our engineers with general maintenance and installation work on customer sites, ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting engineers with generator services and repairs
• Preparing equipment for installation and testing
• Loading and unloading Company vehicles
• Testing lifting and hydraulic equipment
• PAT testing workshop and office equipment

Requirements for this role include:

• Experience as a Fitters Mate in a mechanical industry
• Good appreciation of Health & Safety
• Experience of working in a team environment
• Valid UK Driving licence
