Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality midwifery care to women and their babies, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support for patients.
- Participate in the rotational programme, providing care in all settings and maintaining skills in all areas.
- Support the management team in service and policy development, and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Act as a clinical leader, providing support and guidance to junior staff members.
- Participate in the on-call rota, supporting home birth and the Trust escalation policy.
- Registered with the NMC and active on the register.
- UK PIN in receipt.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of midwifery practice.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
