About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our Adult Social Care Policy team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policies that promote excellent care and service improvement.

The successful candidate will have a passion for service development, a strong understanding of quality and safety standards, and the ability to lead and manage a team. You will work closely with our Modern Matron, Service Manager, and other senior professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage the Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) suite and the coordination and delivery of ECT services, ensuring they meet accepted quality and safety standards.
  2. Complete ECT training and competencies if not already completed.
  3. Manage people who require monitoring for their Clozaril medication in the Hull area, with a strong understanding of physical health monitoring.
  4. Utilize creativity and engagement skills to co-manage a diverse multi-disciplinary group, working closely with senior professionals to progress.

Requirements
  • Postgraduate or the ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge or experiential learning/experience in service development, managing change, leading and managing staff, plus specialist training and short courses to Diploma level relevant to the area of practice.
  • A breadth of professional practice including specialising in the field where the post is held.
