Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Team Manager to join our team based in Swindon. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Risk and Issue Reporting: Engage with the Team Leader to identify and address risks and issues promptly, ensuring that the team operates safely and securely.
  • Safeguarding Enquiries: Conduct thorough safeguarding enquiries and allocate safe workloads to team members, prioritizing the well-being and safety of service users.
  • Staff Supervision: Provide effective supervision and bi-annual performance appraisals to team members, promoting growth and development within the team.
  • Learning Opportunities: Identify and implement learning opportunities to support staff development, modeling inclusive behaviors and promoting a positive team culture.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrate proven leadership skills, with experience in a management or senior practitioner role in a social care or health setting.
