An exciting opportunity has emerged for an experienced Area Maintenance Manager to lead a mobile technical team in the delivery of PPM and Reactive maintenance services. Located in Swindon, this role offers a competitive salary of £47,200 - £52,500 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring services are delivered in line with legislative and regulatory standards while meeting service level agreements. In addition, the AMM must complete a schedule of compliance audits in a timely fashion, taking corrective action as required while driving process and supporting the training of direct reports. Key responsibilities include ensuring all sites are covered on a 365 24/7 basis to deliver both reactive and planned maintenance, providing technical support and coaching to the mobile engineering team, and ensuring all tools and equipment necessary are available to deliver both reactive and planned maintenance. The role also involves supporting the Divisional Operations Manager on all technical, people, and FM process issues, and providing cover for the Divisional Operations Manager during times of absence, holidays, and meetings, if requested. The successful candidate must have strong financial management skills, including managing all expenditure and ensuring effective cost control within agreed budgets by site and across their allocated area. Additionally, they must have a working knowledge of the maintenance service within the FM industry, with previous working knowledge of a multi-client contracted environment being desirable. Strong PC literacy and experience in extracting, collating, and presenting performance data are also essential.
